Casual Layers

Good morning everyone, happy saturday!!! I hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend and your Christmas’ were full of love. I’m already starting my countdown for next year, is that too much? haha

Don’t get me wrong I cant wait for the new year, but I’m always so incredibly depressed when Christmas is over, nothing makes me sadder! One thing that the ending of Christmas brings to me is a reality check and a quick reminder that my days of not only my beloved peppermint mocha lattes, but my  dark lipstick, knit scarves and layering are numbered!  So here I am with a post showing you just that! Hope you all have a great rest of your weekend!

Black to Black

Hey guys!!! Sorry I haven’t posted in a few weeks, I was on vacation in California and then came back with the death flu (I didn’t think i was gonna make it) . I’m feeling better now though so here I am with a new post! 🙂

One thing you should know about me is I love wearing all black. About 90% of my winter wardrobe is strictly black and grey. Not for any particular reason, but I just find you really can’t go wrong with black. It looks great on literally everyone, its slimming, and its universally recognized as the most chic color in the fashion rainbow.

There are times I find when wearing the same shade you can have a tendency to look flat or boring and dull, that’s where mixing textures comes in. In this outfit I paired a fitted leather jacket with a sheer loose top, some black jeans and suede booties. The different textures and variation between fitted and loose articles really added some dimension to the look when put all together. Here are a some pictures of the look, I hope you all enjoy!!

love,

Happy Sunday!!! I hope you all are having a great weekend! We only have 2 more  till Christmas, yikes! So much gift buying to do, so little time!

The other day I tried a cafe called Lola for the first time and let me tell you  it should be called “LOVEla” the coffee was that good, I will definitely be going back soon, one of my new favorites!

It’s finally cooling down out here in Arizona so we can finally throw on parka’s, jackets, blazers etc, and still be comfortable instead of burn up like usual! This day I decided to go for a black satin top, and some dark wash Levi’s and jazzed it up a bit with a simple black blazer and my Chanel sunglasses. What I love about this look is that, the core of the outfit was basically a t-shirt and jeans but it still managed to look a little glam when I put it all together! I could throw on converse and wear a leather jacket and have a completely different vibe. I could have a completely different look just by changing a few accessories and I technically wouldn’t be outfit repeating 😉 Here are a few pictures of my outfit!

Love,

Victoria

OCD (obsessive coffee disorder)

Who doesn’t love a good cup of coffee (extra whip) on a cloudy gloomy day? I know I do! Its gotta be one of my most frequent indulgences during the fall and winter months. Here’s a few pictures of my cozy day at It’s a Grind. I hope you guys are having a good week, we’re half way through!

I feel most accomplished when I put together an outfit that manages to be as comfortable as it gets and chic at the same time. I can’t think of anything that’s better than cute comfort. It seems to me that a simple chambray shirt, a pair of jeans, a few layered accessories and some lipstick never fails to deliver just that! Yesterday I went out with my girlfriends for a late lunch at popular wine bar in phoenix called Postino’s (excellent bruschetta) we took a couple photos of my outfit so I just wanted to share with you all!

Coffee & Cargos

Hey guys! I hope you had a great weekend, I know I did, but between thanksgiving and the black Friday maddness I’m exhausted.

A few days ago my good friend Maria and I went exploring downtown a bit! We had lattes at this great coffee bar called The Cartel! (the best coffee in any city is always in their downtown district no? lol)One thing that I love about hanging out in downtown phoenix is how many underrated places you can find tucked away! There are little surprises around every corner, which is exactly why we couldn’t pass up a mini photo shoot when we saw these giant murals on the walls in different alley ways.

I love the laid back vibe you get downtown which is why I felt so comfortable in these high-waisted Ralph Lauren cargo pants, to go with this long sleeve scoop neck top I got last week from Zara, I paired it all with a pair of Converse and a messy bun to really go for the tough girl or tom boy look! It just so happens that it all went together really nicely with the backdrop the city provided! I hope you enjoy! 🙂

With love,
